Square Feet Architects were approached to refurbish the apartment on the top floor of a Grade II Listed former tea warehouse over looking the Thames, the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre. The warehouse was converted in the 1990’s by Barratt’s.
There were three hundred year old trusses concealed above the ceiling level. We removed the ceilings, introduced new rooflights and a sleeping deck within the new double high space.
New bathrooms and a kitchen were installed, with all fixtures and fittings selected to high specification.
