LEAVESDEN HOUSES, KINGS LANGLEY

Contemporary Living in a Historic Setting

The sensitive redevelopment of a disused car park within the grounds of a former Victorian asylum, creating three distinctive new homes in a mature, historic landscape.

The design responds carefully to the site's architectural heritage, respecting the character and setting of the original Victorian buildings while establishing a confident contemporary identity.

Particular attention has been given to the site's protected trees, with the positioning, scale and form of the new houses thoughtfully considered to preserve the established landscape and minimise their visual impact.

The result is a considered piece of residential architecture that transforms an underused site into three high-quality homes, balancing contemporary living with a respect for history, context and nature.
